It’s a great start to the day when you look out the front window first thing in the morning and see a spacecraft fly over the house! That’s what happened this morning when the space shuttle Endeavour left Houston atop a 747 on its way to California. This was my second morning seeing the shuttle. I spent a couple of hours yesterday morning in the front yard, ostensibly gardening, but really just watching and waiting for the shuttle, hoping it would fly over my neighborhood as it did a “grand tour” of the Houston area on the way to a refueling stop at Ellington Field. I saw it! This wasn’t the first time I’ve seen the shuttle pass over, but it will be the last. This time I got a fairly decent pic of it passing over the neighborhood.
